Welcome to Camp Puh'tok! Since 1942, this beautiful retreat has been providing families and young people with fresh air, outdoor adventures, and lasting memories. We're excited to have the entirety of the camp to ourselves for this magical weekend, and to be able to spend plenty of time with our guests throughout!
Located just 20 minutes from Baltimore and an hour from D.C., Camp Puh'tok is nestled in the picturesque village of Monkton, Maryland, surrounded by 67 wooded acres and bordered by the scenic Gunpowder Falls State Park. You'll be able to experience the tranquility of nature while celebrating our love surrounded by beautiful forests and serene landscapes.
Our ceremony will take place outdoors, with the breathtaking natural surroundings as our backdrop. For those who prefer a cozy indoor setting, the Hacienda and Thunderbird Lodge are both charming spaces with large windows and lovely covered patios, perfect for enjoying the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll offer both indoor and outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re hiking, kayaking, or participating in fun indoor games and crafts, there’s something for every guest to enjoy in this beautiful setting.
From the rehearsal dinner on Friday to the ceremony, reception, and Sunday brunch, all festivities will take place on-site. For those staying the weekend, Puh'tok offers comfortable, heated and air-conditioned cabins, with accommodations for over 100 guests. The cabins sleep between 8-16 people and are equipped with bathrooms, showers, and power outlets. There is also space available for RVs to park on-site (without water or power hookups) as well as plenty of room for tent camping as well!

We are so excited to invite our guests to join us at Camp Puh’tok for the weekend! Whether you're up for the full summer camp experience or prefer the comforts of a hotel, we have options for everyone.
Staying at Camp
For those who want to be right where the action is, we have heated and air-conditioned cabins available at no cost! Staying on-site means you’ll be steps away from all the weekend’s festivities—plus, no need to worry about driving home after a late-night campfire!
We won't be assigning bunks until closer to the event, but feel free to fill out the form on the home page to give us an idea if you are interesting in partaking!
Things to Know:
The cabins offer a cozy and communal camp experience! Each climate-controlled cabin features twin bunk beds and shared bathrooms with showers. Cabins accommodate between 8 and 16 guests, and we’ll do our best to group you with friends and family. That said, in true camp spirit, you may leave with more friends than you arrived with!
What to Bring
While the cabins are climate-controlled and have bathrooms with showers, they are still classic summer camp accommodations. You’ll need to bring:
✔ Pillows, blankets, and linens (twin size) or a sleeping bag
✔ Towels and toiletries
✔ Flashlight or headlamp (it gets dark at camp!)
✔ Bug spray & rain gear (just in case)

Book early to ensure availability! We’ll provide shuttle service to and from BWI Airport and possibly the train station, but if you plan to stay at a hotel, a car is recommended for getting to and from the camp.
